Majority Whip

"Majority rules mean I'm doing the whipping!"

More school girls with weapons practice today.  Today's weapon of choice is a whip.  I think I may have made it a little too jagged but I think it makes it look kinda cool that way too. The pose was taken from a reference book with a few modifications.  I think I'm starting to slowly understand some of the elements that help bring out the dynamic nature of the pose, but I have a few more practice drawings before I'm done with this series.

I ended up doing a few experiments with texturing for the skirt, but it's actually pretty difficult to get a detailed pattern while still maintaining the shape of the shadows and folds.
